Hello, and Welcome!
My name is Robert (Bob) Barber, and I want to thank you for your interest in Pixel Pal Designs. Through this venture, my goal is to come alongside you—whatever your online dreams may be.
As a Southern California native, I’ve been around long enough to witness the incredible evolution of the internet—from the days of 28.8 kbps modems and green-screen computers to the fast-moving digital world we see today. It’s truly an amazing time to be alive!
I’ve been building websites since the beginning. Remember Netscape Navigator and FrontPage 2000? I do. I lived and breathed those tools back in the 1990s, picking apart HTML when the internet was brand new and full of possibilities.
Over time, I became a family man. I’m blessed with a wonderful wife, two amazing kids, and a lively household that includes two dogs, a cat, and even a guinea pig! Eventually, we realized it was time for me to start a side-hustle to help support our growing family. Through prayer, faith, and a desire to use the gifts I’ve been given, we had a family meeting over lunch on a sunny Saturday morning—and that’s how Pixel Pal Designs was born.
I’ve been told I’m “Half-tech.” I know enough about technology to guide others, but I’m not so techy that I leave people behind. I understand that many people want to show their business/hobby/non-profit online but feel overwhelmed. Some don’t know where to start, others need a bit of consulting and encouragement, and some have an existing website that needs updating—but their original tech person has long since moved on.
Can I help you? I sure hope so. My goal is to discuss your needs, see where I can help, and walk alongside you as we bring your project to life—without pressure or tech jargon. Just a friendly family guy who’s passionate about using his skills to serve others.
